Role Playing- Needs a name.

Right. Let's get straight to the point. This will be my first "story" working with other people in the making of it.I will use everyone's suggestions and "constructive critisism" as a means of making the story better, so no bullshit. This thread will be to get suggestions on where the story will take place and who will be in it. It will be a four man squad, so i need three other people, but I may bring in others later. Yes, i govern this story, so what I say goes. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but communism knows how to shut such things up.

You can post what kinds of weapons you want, what extra's and, to those that want involved, what your character's personality will be like, what weapons they will use, etc. You can post any weapon and it's specs, any perk, only as long as it can be put in real life. I either have to know the weapon or you have to give me it's specs and a link to where I can find those specs myself. This topic will be for all that, and for suggestions on the story. The actual story topic will be for the story only.

Next, occupations. This can be anything, really. Military, political, anything. Although I may kill politicians, since I do not like them. Hell, if you want, your occupation could be a hobo for all I care, so long as you have my back. I will start with my Character. And if this wasn't already clear, the enemies are, in fact, zombies and other surviviors, if need be. PS: Weapons: Two primary, one secondary and a Combat Knife. Grenades: 2 each. Finding a weapon and taking it mean either switching out one of your current ones or having a backpack as a perk. Armour: Pick something realistic.


Name: Cpt. James Mitchels. (No, Mitchels in not my real last name).
Occupation: Former US Air Force SERE specialist. Weapons: Colt M4 with advanced optc sight (yes, your weapons can have one special add each, you can get more later), Imran MAC10SSD, Sig Sauer. Perk: Backpack.(Carries up to 2 extra weapons and 4 extra items). Standard capacity for person: 2 Primaries, One Secondary, 6 items (variety).
Physical: American-born Half-Irishman. Dark red hair, 5'10'', medium build. Moderately Strong.
Psych: Natural Team Leader. Likes a good beer every now and then. Prefers to know his team well. Speaks strongly and is a fierce fighter. Sarcastic. Friendly. Country raised. Age: 28 Purpose: Out for revenge for his family's death 1 year ago. (Yes, this takes place one year after infection).

Name: Jess Feeback
Occupation: High School Student (not really an occupation but whatever)
Weapons: Steyr Aug, R700, Glock 17, Perk:Speed, like I can run really fast
Physical: bout 5"8, pretty skinny but is also moderately strong, Caucasian but with a very dark tan.
Psych:Gets along with people well and usually eases the mood with his very sarcastic mood but is also fairly reserved. Knows his purpose within the team(which is hopefully a sniper) and preforms this to perfection,.
Age: 16
Purpose: Survival, realized his best bet for survival is to stick with other people. Constantly trying to get ahold of the best equipment and gear.

ok, thats one. need at least two more. and yes, you can have the position as a sniper. i would like someone good with meds as well, if anyone is interested. the speed perk will do as well, that way, we have a scout and sniper in one.

Occupation: Military Field Medic (French Military)
Weapons: M16 (Laser Sight Add-on), FORT 500 (tweaked barrel for higher accuracy), CZ 75 (Dual Mags), and instead of combat knife can i have a butterfly knife or bowie?
Grenades: 1 Frag Grenade, 1 Frag Mine
Items: First Aid Kit (Bandages, Scissors, everything lol), Flare, Portable Water Purifier
Perk: Parkour
Physical: 5"9, 27 years of age, long black hair, French born Caucasian (French, Scottish), Muscular and Skinny
Psych: Gets along with people well, smartass, slight selfishness, driven slightly insane due to the loss the love of his life during the beginning of the outbreak, good with politics, and doesn't think twice about killing someone who threatens him or his friends/squadmates.

good, good. question: whats parkour? once i know that, everything else is fine. you can have whatever knife you want really. its good to have a medic on board, and a fellow soldier at that. one more and we are all set for now. I'll start writing a backstory today, then we can get started when the final person is here. if anyone's interested, i would like someone that can use an LMG (SAW's, M60's, etc). either that or someone good with SMGs for indoor combat. its good that bhu has that FORT 500 though. I need ideas for a setting though.

i'll give some ideas: Large City (more danger, possibly better stuff). Small Town (less danger, good resting place if you ask me). Military Base. Or we could move from place to place, going to all of these. once we have a setting, i can start drawing up a story. also, should we all start out together or meet early in the story? and Bhu, give yourself a rank please. you are military afterall. Since you're a field medic, you could be any standard platoon rank, such as Corporal, Lance Cpl, PFC, Specialist, etc.

Weapons: P90, M4 Carbine, M1911 pistol
Grenades: Various demolition materials
Items: Tool kit, demolition materials
Perk: Wrecking ball (explosions and melee deal more damage)
Physical: Muscular, 5'11'', black hair
Psych: Quiet, sometimes comes off as brooding. Joined up with other survivors since the group he was with before got eaten. Intelligent, involved in the fields of design, construction, and drafting. Likes to think things through beforehand.

alright, the team is set. and now we need a starting place. since we have a 2 soldiers, a const. worker, and a HS student, we'll start in a fairly large city. we just need to choose one. ya'll get back to me with a city name. and trig, i'll need a name for your guy as well. explosives should be fun...

Parkour is free running, if you've ever played Mirrors Edge or Assassins Creed, you'll know what i'm talking about, but i won't be able to do crazy shit like that. And my rank? How about Specialist.

Mirrors Edge, that was a good game. It actually made me feel sick at times though, and got severe tunnel vision

roger on that parkour. if ya'll wanna make up a city, you gotta give me a feasable location somewhere in the world (preferrably the states) and i'll need the landscape around the city as well. Denver sounds alright, although i never liked it when i was there, but hey, i dont like big cities at all. Denver's good with me, and if you guys agree, I'll take it. and i will need a location on a nearby military base from there, say direction and distance. never managed to get a support gunner though. i can make it work with what we got. I'll get us a prelude up soon. what should be the cause of the outbreak? should we use DF's or make our own?

I say we use DF's because we all know it already. Also, I think that the OP should have control over what happens to all of the characters, but the characters owners get to decide what their actions are.

well, i never was good with the shorts. since everyone seems to agree, Denver will be our spot. any of you guys disagree with starting split up? not as if a new meeting, but just starting in different places in the city. teams 1 and 2. sniper andmedic in one group, me and demo in another. Team one (my team) will start at a convinience store on the northern end of town. team two (who the frenchie medic is in charge of) will be on a rooftop of Denver Hospital after some supplies. we'll say it's a six-story building. good for sniping, just remember who you're allowed to shoot. we will rendevous in the hospital lobby. i'll put a detailed brief up on a new post tomorrow. keep in with the ideas, considering you accept this one. lock and load boys.

dont lock it. i AM putting up a new thread for the actual story, but this one will be for momments and the such. and is there a way to only give the members of the story rights to a thread? i wanna have all my contributors the right to post in the story thread, so long as they dont fuck off. and I NEED A NAME FOR THE STORY!!! i asked for that in the beginning.
