And it begins...

Prolouge.

"Roger that. We will be there A-SAP." Captain James Mitchels said through the radio. He turned toward his partner, John Coyle. "That was the frenchie. He and the kid are at the hospital about six blocks from here. The place is fucked, but we still need the supplies. We need to get there and provide some support."
Coyle nodded. "Let's go."

2017. One year after the outbreak. A cancer vaccine was made and released to the public through a company known as Secronom in 2016. The vaccine didn't work. Instead, it changed them, made them mad, mutated them. They're no longer human. They feed off of any animal they can get their hands on. We are now in Denver, Colorado just trying to survive.

"Almost there, frenchie." Mitchels said.
"Better hurry, the party is going to start without you." Specialist Cam Cannon said back.
Mitchel raised his MAC10 as Coyle kicked open the service door into the hospital. Cam was right, the place was swarming with infected. The men opened fire. "Get to the fourth floor! That's where they are!" Coyle yelled.
"How the hell did they get all the way up there!" Mitchels yelled back, not looking for an answer. They made it to the stairway and started climbing them. They could hear the gunshots from above.
"Hey!" Mitchel yelled into the radio. "Stop the fucking shooting! We have to come through the stairway!"
The shooting ceased. Coyle and Mitchels went through the door, checking for targets as they went. They saw Jess Feeback, a sixteen year old student who stuck with Cam until the two met with Mitchels.
"Hey there, Jess," Mitchels said as he approached him. "Where's the frenchie?"
"In the back of this office, looking for some stuff." Jess replied.
"Good. Coyle stick here with the kid and cover the doorway. We'll move out soon. I'll see if Cam found what he came for."
Coyle nodded.

Mitchels moved into a storage closet that was being lit by an electric lantern. Cam gave him a quick glance then went back to work. "I found some rope. Rather than going all the way back down to the lobby and fighting our way out, we can use it to get out of the hospital." Cam said.
That's good, Mitchels thought. He used most of his MAC10 ammo on the way up. "We need to hit a gun store next. I'm sure we all need ammo of some sort." Mitchels grabbed some penicillin from the shelf and put it in his backpack.
"You're right. I am out of ammo for my pistol. And Feeback needs ammo too." Cam said as he stood up. "Well, let's, how you Americans say, blow this joint."

To the safehouse...


The gunfire erupted at the door again. Jess would be out of ammo soon.
"Coyle!" Mitchels yelled. "Help Feeback cover the door! Frenchie, grab that end of the rope and tie it to that post!"
"The rope is tied." Cam said over the continuous gunfire. "How about you go first, drunkard?"
Mitchels smiled "No thanks, Frenchie. You tied it, you can go first."
An explosion.
"What the fuck was that, John," Jess coughed.
"An explosion...?" John said back.
"No shit, sherlock."
"Well, Cam said 'let's blow this place' so I thought I would help out."
"Hey frenchie," Mitchels laughed "Next time, choose your words."
"Fuck you, drunkard." Cam laughed.

After a small arguement, everyone decided that Coyle would go out the 4th story window first. Everyone was going just fine... until Mitchel started yelling.
"Fuck!" He yelled. "That was my last beer that just fell!"
"Don't you have more at the safehouse," Coyle asked.
"No, that was my last one!"
"Your loss. Put it in a better place next time."
"Screw you, man."
Everyone made it down safely. The roads were pretty clear.
"Coyle. Go grab that truck. I know you can hotwire it." Mitchels pointed to an old Ford pickup on the other side of the road.
Coyle was driving with Feeback in the cab with him. Cam and Mitchels sat in the bed of the truck.
"So what's the plan?" Cam asked. "How far is the safehouse from here?"
"Not far," Mitchels responded. "It's about 5 miles out of town, but we can't stay there long. We will gram ammunition while we are still in town. There is enough supplies at the safehouse to last about three days. From there, we will move to a military base about 70 miles south of here." Mitchels scratched his head. "Coyle and Feeback don't have any armour. We can pick up some kevlar at the base. Maybe find a few weapons as well."

On their way to the safe house, they found a gun store conviniently placed next to a liquor store. Mitchels took Feeback and went into the liquor store while Coyle and Cam went into the gun store. After grabbing what they came for, the drove toward the safehouse.

The safehouse wasn't much to look at. jast a small rundown cabin near the woods. had no power, no water, two small cots, a sofa, and a minifridge filled with Mitchels' favorite beers.

"Okay boys," Mitchels said "You are free to do what you want. I'm gonna catch a few hours' sleep and then go to the military base south of here. We only have two vehicles: the truck we just stole and a civilian H3 behind the cabin. Who's going with me?"


Role-playing starts now.

Jay, who was driving through the countryside of Colorado, noticed a small cabin near the road he was driving down. It had two vehicles outside, so he suspected there might be survivors there. He stopped his SUV outside of the cabin (at a safe distance).

Jay walked up to the door, and knocked. His gun loaded and ready for anything.

It's unexpected to have another element, but all right. Jay, post you character's stuff in the "RP-needs a name" thread.


With his pistol drawn, Mitchels answered the door. "Jay?" He asked. "Is that you, man?"
They relaxed and Mitchels let him in. "Hey guys. this is Jay. He was an old friend of mine. I lost track of him during the outbreak."

Cam looks out the window to see what Jays ride was, he sees it was an SUV "hehe... nice gas guzzler you got there" he says to himself. Cam looked out the window once again, he saw multiple figures moving in the distance, they appeared to be human. Cam screamed "Oh mon dieu" everyone in the room looked at him. "Uhm, oh sorry, i forgot you americans couldn't speak the true human language, well i think we've got company", Cam points out the window and readies his M16.

Mitchels looked out the back window and then the front door. "We're surrounded. They look like fast movers. Must have followed us from the city." Mitchels loaded his carbine and closed the front door. "We have the ammo to take them. We can either make a run for the truck or we can hold them off. But more may come if we wait too long."
"Let's have some fun." Coyle said, preparing a few stick of TNT.
Mitchels smiled. "Sounds like a plan. Keep the dynamite away from the vehicles though. We need thos just in case more show up." Mitchels found a string on the ceiling and pulled on it. "This will take you to the roof. Coyle and Feeback, get up there. Jay, cover the back door. Cam, get the front. I'll cover the side windows." Only one side of the shack had windows anyways.
Mitchels prepared his weapon and took a look out the window. They were charging. Mitchels pulled out one of his three flasks and took a quick drink of whatever alcohol was inside, even he didn't know. Before he was done taking a drink, Coyle threw the dynamite, killing seven zombies and blowing up Jay's ride. Mitchels was glad jay was in the back so he couldn't see what had happened.
The gunfire erupted and infected started to fall. The battle would soon be over. Or so Mitchels thought. More, many more, appeared just inside the treeline.
"Fuck!" Mitchels yelled. "Got more over here!"
"Over here too!" Jay yelled.
"And here!" Cam yelled.
"They're everywhere!" Feeback yelled.
"Coyle!" Mitchels yelled. "Get the truck!"
Not two minutes after Mitchels yelled did the truck come crashing through the other side of the shack. Coyle and Feeback were in the cab.
"Everyone in!" Mitchels yelled. The three of them piled into the bed of the truck just in time for the infected to overrun the shack.
As they were driving away, Jay noticed someting. "What the fuck happened to my car!" Jay yelled.
Mitchels laughed. "Bad throw maybe? But enough about that. All my beer was in that minifridge!"
The group headed toward the military base to the south...

after about two hours of driving the truck was out of gas, just on the horizon was what looked like a small town though "Fuck mitchels, you gotta remember that trucks need goddamn gas" Cam said as he was inspecting his Machete, "Well, atleast we can find some gas up in that town" Mitchels replied, "Well your carrying the fucking fuel" Jay said chuckling. "Coyle! get your ass over here, we're going for a walk" Mitchels called out, Coyle jumped out of the cab and joined us. "You too Feeback!" Cam yelled as he slung his backpack aroud his arm. We all looked at eachother and nodded and started walking down the road.

Mitchels lit a smoke a while after the walking started. The group was about 10 minutes out.
"We should usually have seen the infected by now, but check your weapons people." Mitchels said while loading his pistol. He used a lot of his ammo for his carbine and decided to switch to his sidearm. He handed Cam his last magazine of 5.56mm ammo. "Use it wisely." Mitchels said.
Cam nodded. "Will do." He loaded it into his gun.
"Alright," Mitchels started. "Feeback and Jay. Inside that house," Mitchels pointed at a large three story building. "Provide cover fire if it's needed. And remember: clear the building first. Quietly if possible. Jay, you cover Feeback. He's got the sniper rifle anyways. Cam, Coyle, you guys are with me. No explosives Coyle. It's a gas station."
Coyle smiled.
Cam sighed. "Just give me enough time to get away before he gets his hands on that shit again."
The radio message cam through the radio from Jay. "We are in position. On your go."
"Alright boys," Mitchels said. "Let's go!"
They ran across the road in a hurry. They weren't alone.
Half a dozen infected ran after them. They were quickly cut down by sniper fire and machinegun fire. Mitchels ran to the gas station pump. It still had gasoline in it. More infected were coming. They were waiting for them!
"Coyle!" Mitchels yelled. "Go grab those gas cans!" More machinegun fire. Coyle made it back in a hurry. 5 gallons.
"Fuck! They're in!" Jay yelled over the radio. "Jess! Jump!"
There came a crash. The group turned to see Jess falling out of the second story window. Jay came out the front door, going to Feeback's aid.
"Damnit!" Jay yelled. "Feeback's leg is pretty banged up! I'm going to need some cover!"
Cam turned toward Mitchels. Cam had dropped his M16 and switched to his FORT 500. Mitchels threw Cam his MAC10 and nodded. Cam ran toward Jay to help.
Mitchels handed Coyle two one gallon cans. Coyle tucked his P90 under his right arm and the two ran toward the rest of the group.

The zombies were clear now. Mitchels and Coyle set down the cans near Feeback.
"How's the kid?" Mitchels asked Cam, who did the diagnosis.
"He has a sprain in his right ankle and he seems to have bruised a bone. He banged his head coming down, but it's nothing to worry about, just a little dizziness. He can walk at a slow pace but won't be able to run for a couple days." Cam explained. "He shouldn't walk on it for today though. Just to be safe."
"Alright," Mitchels said, handing Coyle two cans and Jay another. "You help him walk, doc. We can keep you covered. It's a half an hour back to the truck like this." Mitchels put his cans in his backpack and pulled out his Sig. "Let's go.."

Jay looked at the back at the others. "This would have never happened if you hadn't blown up the Prombon. That thing cost me well over 6 mil. It had taken tank shells before without a scratch. Could carry well over eight people in the cab.

FUCK!!!! I had lost all my ammunition and guns. How the hell, could a stick of dynamite destroy it in one blast. What the hell was that made of?"

"It's dynamite Jay, what the fuck do you think it's made of?" Coyle replied

"Enough with the fighting. We're in a pretty fucked up situation and we are almost out of ammo with the exception of TNT, which we have an entire crate of." Mitchels sighed.
They made it back to the truck and set Feeback down in the bed of the truck. They had enough fuel to get to the next town. They would have to refuel there. From there, they can go strait to the base.
Mitchels could hear the zombies getting closer. He propped Feeback up with his rifle. "Shoot anything that comes across that horizon. I'll get started on refueling the truck. Cam cover west, Jay cover East, Coyle cover North."
They all nodded in reply. "Good," Mitchels said. "Get to it.
As the gunfire erupted, Mitchels refueled the truck. It wasn't long before Coyle lied and yelled out of ammo. He jumped on the bed of the truck with a lighter in one hand and dynamite in the other.
"Cam, get in the back!" Mitchels yelled. "Jay! Get in the cab!"
Jay got in the drivers' side door and Mitchels got in the passenger door. It wasn't long before the explosions started, followed by cries of joy coming from Coyle. The group drove off in the direction of the next town.

As they sped off into the distance, Jay rolled down the window and looked back at the people in the bed. "Hey, I just got a great Idea on what we can do with that dynamite. Lets strap it to Coyle the next time we get 'overwhelmed' by zombies. Make him charge them. Traditional Kamakazi!"

Mitchels laughed silently at the thought. Seeing Coyle charge at the zombies like a muslum would be funny, but that would mean losing one of his closest comrades. The base was in sight, just in time for the truck to stall.
"What the fuck!" Mitchels yelled, trying to restart it. "Cam, cover me while I look for the problem under the hood."
Cam jumped from the back and Mitchels climbed out of the cab. Mitchels popped the hood of the truck. "The starter is done for," Mitchels said. "We're walking the rest of the way. Coyle! Stick some dynamite in your pocket and grab Feeback. We're walking."
Mitchels walked to Feeback and had him lean on his shoulder. Mitchels handed his backpack to Coyle and threw the M4 to Jay. "We'll need quite a bit of dynamite to get into the armory. Put some more in the backpack." He said. "Stick close guys."
They walked the rest of the way to the base without problem. It took close to an hour to reach the base at the slow pace the group had to move. They reached the armory building inside the complex. Mitchels set Feeback down with the M4 Jay was carrying. "It only has one clip, so pick your targets wisely." Mitchels said.
"Jay, help Coyle set the explosives on the door. Let's get in there, then steal a humvee. There should be plenty of fuel in the motorpool area."

"Look, I don't think that is a good idea," said Jay. "Who knows I am not going to take the explosives and strap them to Coyle!"

suddenly a nuke dropped killing everyone and everything.

And on a completely proffessional level, Dnopps came and had his way with all of the unfortunate bodies to fall victim to the blast.
